CalenDeals is a free service that delivers curated product deals to your phone's calendar as a subscription feed. The service is operated by Jason Barnes ("we," "us," "our").
CalenDeals is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. By using this service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Subscriber ID: A randomly generated identifier (not tied to your name, email, or any personal account) used to serve your personalized feed and track deal engagement.
Feed fetch logs: When your calendar app polls our server, we log the timestamp and user agent string for analytics and troubleshooting.
Deal click logs: When you tap a deal link, we log which deal was tapped and your subscriber ID to measure deal performance.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number (unless you subscribe to our premium SMS tier), IP address, location, payment information (handled by Stripe), or any other personally identifiable information. There is no account creation, no login, and no registration form.
Deal links in CalenDeals are affiliate links. When you purchase a product through our links, we may earn a small commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. This is how we keep the service free. We are affiliated with Amazon Associates, Target, Best Buy, and Walmart affiliate programs.
Supabase — hosts our database. Data is stored in the United States.
Netlify — hosts our website and serverless functions.
Stripe — processes payments for premium subscribers.
Retailers (Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Walmart) — when you click a deal link, you are redirected to the retailer's website. Their privacy policies apply to your interaction with their sites.
Subscriber data is retained for as long as your calendar subscription is active. If your calendar app stops polling our feed for more than 90 days, we may delete your subscriber record.
You can unsubscribe at any time by removing the calendar subscription from your calendar app. To request deletion of your subscriber record, contact us at the email below.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
